Common Misconceptions About Small Business Branding

]]>

There’s no doubt in the minds of business owners that branding is important. How can it not be so? Every blog site which offers small business help has discussed the importance of it at least once in their posts. So it would be a moot point for me to reiterate its importance. What I will do however is provide you with some of the common misconceptions about small business branding.

Misconception #1: It’s all about the tag-line and the logo.

Fact: It’s true, you would be able to get potential customers’ attention with witty tag-lines and probably a psychedelic logo that comes with it. But at the end of the day, let’s just call them what they are: attention-grabbing signage. Branding is not just about getting attention, it’s more about sustaining it.

Misconception #2: A “brand” is your products end of discussion.

Fact: Small businesses grow because of relationship building and maintenance. Your product is just a part of your brand, the other part is who you are as a person, who you are as an entrepreneur. Trust is a very important factor especially if you’re running a small business. Once you’ve established that, you’re sure to double your sales because those customers you have will come back for more plus, they’d tell their friends about you too and how wonderful it is doing business with you. So, you may have a lot of competitors out there but customers would always return to the brand they trust and that is you, your company and your product.

Misconception #3: Advertising would help kick-start your small business.

Fact: Advertisements cost way too much for your small business to afford. Also, if you and your customers are a lot like me, once the ads start, I’d flip the channel. That is if you will be advertising on TV. Make use of your good ole internet connection. Start a blog, create a twitter account if you don’t have one yet (which I seriously doubt), make a fan page of your business on facebook, register on LinkedIn. It’s free and you’d be able to get more personal with your target market (well, as personal as the web can get you).

If you want to get more people to patronize your small business than your competitors, the best way to do it is to let them know who you are. You represent your business, your products and your services. Small business branding is about how you sell your products by how you sell yourself.

Mass Money Makers Bonus

Filed under: Small Business Tips — admin @ 11:45 am

A few years ago anyone could just put up an affiliate site and put a few affiliate links in and make some good money for product launches. However, things and times have changed drastically. As a matter of fact, it’s the sole reason for me putting up this mass money makers bonus blog. Let me explain further:

As an affiliate, one of the best way to make some quick money is to cash in on product launches. This is when a new course or coaching program is released in the market place. How it works is that when the product is released, it will only be available either to a limited amount of persons or it will only be available for a limited amount of time. Thus prior to the release date a lot of buzz will be created so that on the release date everyone (who can afford the course depending on the price) will be ready to buy just so they don’t miss out on the offer.

How the affiliate makes money is by taking advantage of that buzz that was created. If he as an email list, he would warm them up by telling them about the offer way in advance. This way he can get his/her subscribers to purchase the course through his link. If he doesn’t have an email list, the best way to cash in was to put up a review site and send traffic to his review site. However, that method alone doesn’t work anymore. You see, almost everyone in the IM niche is aware of affiliate products and buying the product through their own link so that they can get a discount. Thus the affiliate promoting the offer loses.

Now the new way to make money from product launches is to create incredible bonuses that complements the product being offered. This way, you will make the offer irresistible and your readers can’t help but buy from you! Remember I told you early that it’s the sole reason for me to create a mass money makers bonus blog? Well I hope you are following and I will soon get into the details of that part.

Let me divert a little bit: Every so often a new product launches in the Internet Marketing niche. Quite honestly, some of them are rehashed stuff that are packaged differently and some of them are total crap. But and this is a BIG ‘but’ every now and then a product lauches that revolutionize the whole IM arena. I mean products that are worth every penny and much more… products that anyone can use, implement and will see positive results.

Here’s the good news. On December 28th, 2010 one such course will be released. Now before you start jumping to conclusion, read on to learn more and why I say this course will help you.

The course is created by Matt Bacak and Alen Sultanic and it will be called mass money makers This is a course that is designed to automate truck loads of targeted traffic to your sites. And you know the results of targeted traffic right? You see, if you run an online business then traffic is one of the MOST important aspect of that business. The more traffic you have, the more money you make.Right now, I won’t get into all the details of the product just yet, I’ll save it for my future posts.

However, I want you to know that the creators of the course are reputable persons who not only walk the walk but also talk the talk. For example, Matt Bacak was awarded Internet Marketer of the year 2010. That means he must know his stuff right? Exactly! But that’s not the good part, the good part is that he is an awesome teacher and coach and will help you to achieve your goals like has has with thousands of people before.

Using Pay Per Click As A Small Business Marketing Strategy

]]>

Pay per click as a marketing strategy is great at sending qualified leads to your business. As a small business owner using a variety of small business marketing methods is the key to your overall success of generating traffic to your website and therefore your business. There are many pay per click providers to choose from

At present besides the big one in Google Adwords there are also a number of great other tools. Facebook Ad’s will become the number 1 pay per click advertising method and there are also twitter pay per click, linkedIn pay per click, gmail pay per click and yahoo pay per click. So you can see your business has many different options.

Pay per click marketing allows you to put an ad on the search engines and when someone see’s your ad and click’s through it onto your website you are charged for that click. How popular your keyword is which determine how much you have to pay. For example popular key words like ’small business marketing, web design, etc can cost upto $10 per click on some sites and as little as $.90c on others.

If you are using pay-per-click search engines for direct product marketing, you need to know how much each click is worth. Pay per click marketing campaigns are fantastic as that they can be executed quickly – within in a few days.

To understand how beneficial pay per click marketing could be for your business, do a keyword search for yourself. Let’s say your business was around dog grooming and you covered the Sydney area. Go onto google.com and type in the search ‘dog grooming sydney’ at the top it will tell you how many people per month search for that particular key word.

Our rule is if there is not over 30,000 people per month searching for it, then it is not worth doing and maybe using a different form of pay per click is the way to go.

Facebook pay per click can reach over 39 billion people, but before you get to excited ask yourself this question. Does my product or service get used by people who hang out on facebook?

Gmail pay per click allows you to have an ad showing on people’s email. You could have your ad showing at the bottom of your competitors daily emails.

Overall pay per click marketing for small business owners is a great strategy that allows business an instant hit to their website page. With all marketing you do you need to ensure that the return you are getting is worth the investment.
